Kenneth Ingber is an experienced advocate in the state and federal courts throughout the State of California. Mr. Ingber represents individuals, institutions and entities in a wide variety of business, bankruptcy, employment, and entertainment-related disputes and transactions, through all phases of litigation, including trial.
Mr. Ingber’s bankruptcy practice includes the representation of debtors and creditors in Chapters 7, 11 and 13. Mr. Ingber is also an experienced bankruptcy litigator on behalf of debtors, creditors and trustees in Adversary Proceedings pending in the United States Bankruptcy Court.
Mr. Ingber is a seasoned litigator with substantial experience handling the trial, arbitration and mediation of complex commercial and securities disputes. Mr. Ingber’s expertise includes advising and defending companies and their officers and directors in business, employment, entertainment and securities matters. Mr. Ingber has conducted many trials and arbitrations to verdict.
Mr. Ingber has a diverse background advocating for clients in the entertainment industry and is the former general counsel and vice president of business affairs for a publicly traded independent record company. Mr. Ingber’s experience as a music industry professional and business executive allows him to serve as outside general counsel and to offer clients a unique perspective on legal, business and insurance matters based on real-world concerns coupled with experienced legal advocacy.
Mr. Ingber’s expertise includes representing institutions and businesses in litigation disputes involving the motion picture industry and the music industry, including disputes regarding artists’ rights, intellectual property rights, and international sales agency agreements.
Mr. Ingber has successfully arbitrated and litigated numerous employment cases on behalf of employers and executive officers, and he represents large and small employers in connection with their labor and employment claims.
Mr. Ingber’s real estate experience includes the representation of commercial and individual property owners in disputes arising with lenders, management companies or from a landlord-tenant relationship.
Mr. Ingber also has substantial experience in connection with California cannabis law and has represented investors, cultivators and retail operators in connection with legal and regulatory matters.
