Kenneth Ingber represents individuals and entities in a wide variety of business, insurance, securities and entertainment-related disputes and transactions through all phases of litigation, including trial.
Mr. Ingber is an experienced litigator with substantial experience handling the litigation, arbitration and mediation of claims on behalf of brokerage firms and individual brokers in proceedings before the NASD and NYSE, and in defense of general liability claims in which defendants are covered by insurance. Mr. Ingber has successfully defended claims arising under the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, allegations of failure to supervise, churning and unsuitability, among others, in addition to insurance-related matters and bad faith claims in state and federal courts and before administrative tribunals.
Mr. Ingber has successfully represented individuals and entities in claims arising from allegations of environmental contamination and hazardous waste, including claims for cost recovery and contribution arising under CERCLA. He represents a potentially responsible party being sued by the United States for over $17 million in response costs allegedly incurred by the EPA at a Superfund site and in related claims for contribution against third parties. In addition, he defended the largest manufacturer in northern Nevada against claims by neighboring landowners that volatile organic compounds migrated onto their properties.
